Owner'sJanet, Linda & JimJim Stevens, Linda Stevens, and Janet Lepp opened The Garment District in 1972 in Fort Collins, Colorado. We opened a second store in Denver in 1980. The Fort Collins store was closed in 2008 after 36 years in that community. The Garment District is a "family owned" business, Jim and Linda are married, Linda and Janet are sisters. Having a great staff and great clientele have contributed to an exceptionally long tenure as a contemporary fashion store. We, as owners, are committed to a long tenure for each member of our staff. We find that each staff member in turn is committed to building a relationship with each client so they can be sure the client's clothing preferences are listened to and addressed consistently with each visit to The Garment District.
